FluxCourse 2020 CANCELLED

$2,850The award-winning FluxCourse summer short course in flux measurement and modeling will be held July 13th – 24th, 2020, at the University of Colorado’s Mountain Research Station at Niwot Ridge, Colorado, USA.
The two-week course covers:
- fundamentals of observing carbon, water and energy fluxes at leaf-to-ecosystem scales
- best practices for the synthesis of flux network data
- fundamentals of integrating flux data and ecosystem models
Each year, the course is attended by 24 early career scientists and between 10-15 volunteer instructors from all over the world. You can lean more about the course, the instructors, and the syllabus from previous years at http://www.fluxcourse.org.

Course fees are $2,850, covering attendance, dorm, and meals. Up to four students will receive scholarship for the course.

Ameriflux will generously support two attendees (fee waivers)
*** To apply for one of the 2 Ameriflux scholarships you must be part of the flux community in North America, part of Ameriflux or NACP or make a case for another form of participation.
NEON Scholars (2 students)
NSF’s National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) will generously support two attendees (fee waivers + airfare)
