Here are some pointers to help you plan your travel!
Conference Venue: Environment and Natural Resources 2 Building at the Arizona Institute for Resilience, University of Arizona. This is where we will do the oral presentations and poster session.
Lodging: There is no specified conference hotel. Feel free to select whatever lodging is convenient for you.
Airports: Tucson International Airport (TUS) is a medium sized airport. If you fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), you can either connect to TUS, or look below for ground transport options.
Ground transport: It’s a 1h 40 min drive from Phoenix to Tucson. There are several options:
- drive a rental car (use this optional spreadsheet for forming fabulous flux carpools)
- Greyhound/Flixbus buses leave PHX at 12pm, 4pm, 5:15pm, and 7:15pm. One way ~$35
- Groome Transportation seems to offer airport shuttles, but can’t get pricing online
