To foster network collaboration and interaction, the AmeriFlux Management Project will host regional workshops to bring together local site teams. We are proud to announce that our first regional workshop will be hosted at the home of the ChEAS Core Site cluster in Madison, Wisconsin. We have already invited all local site teams but if you did not receive an invitation and would like to participate, please contact ameriflux-tech@lbl.gov.
The workshop will be held over two days to allow plenty of time for classroom and hands-on sessions. For those wanting to visit the nearby eddy flux sites US-DFC (https://ameriflux.lbl.gov/sites/siteinfo/US-DFC) and US-DFK (https://ameriflux.lbl.gov/sites/siteinfo/US-DFK), we are offering a half day field excursion on August 16th as an option.
The main event will take place at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Madison), Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences (AOSS) Building (Room 811). The Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences Building
is located at 1225 W. Dayton St. A link to the campus map is here. The nearest campus parking is available at the Union South Garage. Realtime parking availability can be found here.
Registration for the workshop is FREE but attendees will need to cover travel/hotel costs. Lunch on August 15 will be covered for in-person attendees.
A Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees on Monday prior to the meeting.
