Optional, Mutually-Exclusive Variables

If reporting, only enter one mutually-exclusive variable per row (group entry).
Mutually-exclusive variables with letter suffix (e.g., “-a”) can be included in the CSV file, but only one variable per row can be reported.

  • Leave blank if observation is for entire site AND variables are optional.
  • Otherwise, use one row per variables.

    Do not enter both mutually-exclusive variables in the same row.
    Watch for matching suffixes (e.g., “-a”).
