35th Conference on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology
May 1, 2023 - May 4, 2023
The 35th Conference on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, sponsored by the American Meteorological Society, will be held May 01-04, 2023 at the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA and online. This conference is organized by the AMS Committee on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology and is jointly held with the Sixth Conference on Atmospheric Biogeosciences and the 14th Symposium on Fire and Forest Meteorology. The deadline to submit an abstract to the 35th Conference on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology is 18 January 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern.
While papers are solicited on all aspects of ecosystem-atmosphere interactions, potential topics to consider include (some topics are joint with the Sixth Conference on Atmospheric Biogeosciences):
Advances in Top-Down and Bottom-Up Approaches for Constraining Biogeochemical Fluxes at Ecosystem to Regional Scales & Emissions and Deposition of Reactive Gases and Aerosols in the Terrestrial Biosphere
Development and Application of New Instruments and Techniques for Studying Surface-Atmosphere Biogeochemical Fluxes
Emissions and Uptake of Reactive Compounds from Terrestrial Ecosystems
Measurements and Modeling of Turbulence Transport and Diffusion In and Above Plant Canopies
Monitoring the Interactions Between Vineyards and Orchards and Their Environment
Other Topics on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology
Plants and Ecosystems’ Water Use Strategies Under Limited Environmental Conditions and Disturbances
Progress in Remote Sensing of Surface-Atmosphere Exchange
Radiative Fluxes in Forest and Agricultural Systems
Revisiting the Energy Balance Closure Issue Using Eddy Covariance Technique
An abstract fee of $120 (payable by credit card or purchase order) will be charged at the time of submission (refundable only if abstract was not accepted). Authors of accepted presentations will be notified by late February 2023.
