Regional Workshop – Utah Department of Natural Resources, Salt Lake City
August 18 - August 20
The AmeriFlux network is growing and we see an opportunity to connect teams to foster networking, knowledge sharing, and support between new and experienced PIs, site technicians, early career scientists and students. This workshop is not a mini-Annual meeting nor a science meeting. This is a one-day classroom (Aug 18th, 2026) workshop aiming to bring site teams in the region together and create a lively space to discuss all things eddy covariance (not science). For those wanting to visit nearby eddy flux sites we are offering two field trips: a full day to US-UTW (August 19th) and a half day field excursion to a newly established site in a saline terminal lacustrine ecosystem on August 20th, 2026 as an option.
Registration for the workshop is FREE but attendees are responsible for any travel/hotel costs. Snacks and lunch on Aug 18th will be covered for in-person attendees, as well as snacks during the field trips. Remote participation is possible.
