The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring STEM graduate students for the Fall 2019 school year to research the resilience and sustainability of food, energy, water, and ecosystem services systems in Nebraska. Selected students will be paid a salary ($34,000 a year for two years for master’s students and $36,000 a year for three years for Ph.D. students) while they earn their advanced degrees in a science field related to our research. The students also receive free tuition and health insurance while in the traineeship. Students take part in special interdisciplinary trainings besides their classwork and write a paper or produce a product based on their research. Funding is provided by the National Science Foundation. More details can be found at https://nrt.unl.edu.
