Read how our AmeriFlux community contributed to this synthesis of data from 22 AmeriFlux towers. The authors write about responses of terrestrial ecosystems to extreme climate events (drought and heat), and the impact on the carbon cycle. This paper was just published in PNAS late April 2016 (doi: 10.1073/pnas.1519620113).
